Car Idiots Forever®

Hall of Fame Inductee

DEAN "DINO" ARNOLD

It's a no-brainer that the final 2020 inductee for the Car Idiots Forever® Hall of Fame would be a guy who changed the world of customizing . . .  and he shows no signs of stopping.

We are proud to announce world-renowned designer and customizer Dean “Dino” Arnold as our next inductee into the Car Idiots Hall of Fame.

Dino has been an innovator in the custom automobile industry for more than forty years.  He has won trophies in just about every category on the Hot Rod Show circuit, including 2010 Builder of the Year and 2010 Painter of the Year by House of Kolor.  That same year, Dino was inducted into Darryl Starbird’s National Rod & Custom Hall of Fame Museum and the  Hot Rod Hall of Fame.

As an industry leader, he specializes in sheet metal, aluminum, fiberglass, custom frames and painting. He also builds custom cars and restores and creates replicas of classic cars.  In fact, he’s so good that Dino’s creations have tooled around in television shows and movies like Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, The Fast and Furious 2 and Con Air.

While others might be aiming for retirement, Dino is working on his biggest challenge yet: building 300 custom Corvettes over the next four years out of Dino’s Rod and Custom shop in Hastings, Michigan.  Seems that Dino has shown time and time again that nothing can stop him when he sets his mind and creativity to it.
