Car Idiots Forever®

Hall of Fame Inductee

JERRY ROMAN

The very first Hall of Fame Inductee in the Car Idiots Forever® Hall of Fame is Jerry Roman!

Learn how Jerry's auto obsession began and get some great advice from one of the best!

Even though he grew up without a family car, Jerry Roman was crazy about them.  It didn’t take long for him to be recognized early on in his career as a custom car stylist, and he joined the Kustom Kings Car Club in Cleveland, Ohio in 1956.

Our honored Hall of Famer started Roman’s Chariot Shop in 1959 and led the way in custom automotive aftermarket parts and accessories with sunroofs, T-Tops, moon roofs and fake convertible tops. In fact,  was one of the first to bring these custom aftermarket trends to fruition in the 1970s and 80s.

Jerry admits he is -- and will always be -- a member of the Car Idiots Forever™ phenomenon.
